My dental hygienist recommended Boff’s when I said I was looking for Shawarma. There is a small-ish take out with a couple tables to eat in attached to a small store. The have a good menu with lots of options as well as a children’s menu. I got a beef shawarma and chicken lemon rice soup for just over $13 dollars. It came with a warm pita bread and garlic sauce. The soup was the best I have ever had, great flavor with lots of delicious, shredded chicken, celery. The color was a beautiful turmeric shade and it was still piping hot after the 10+ minutes to drive home. Beef Shawarma was flavorful, meat was tender, no dry or chewy pieces. I just came back from getting my teeth cleaned. I do not want to brush my teeth because I don’t want this taste in my mouth to go away. The attached store has a good selection of spices and meats. There is a deli counter and I noticed chicken thighs in the freezer for I think $2.79 a pound. I will definitely return there in the near future to try other things.

Bought 2 tomahawk steaks monday,cook 1 for the first time..medium rare it was awesome, needed a bit more seasoning.

Boff’s Mixed Grill in Warren, MI truly lives up to the high ratings—and then some. We came in for dine-in, and it was clear right away how popular this place is with a steady and consistent flow of takeout customers, which is always a great sign. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. The portion sizes are huge, easily more than enough, and everything was served hot and fresh. On top of that, the staff went above and beyond by bringing extra food to our table just for us to try, which was such a thoughtful and generous touch. Between the quality of the food, the generous portions, and the outstanding service, it’s easy to see why this place is so highly rated. We will absolutely be coming back again in the future. Highly recommend!

12/12/25 update: I live in Chesterfield and gladly drive all the way to Boff’s, not just for the incredible food, but for the outstanding service as well. You can truly tell the owner takes immense pride in both the food and the experience they provide, and it shows in every detail. There’s no other Middle Eastern restaurant around that compares. Everything is unbelievably fresh, flavorful, and consistently excellent. My favorite is the chicken cream chop, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Truly the best of the best. My husband and I tried Boff’s Middle Eastern Cuisine for the first time and ordered the chicken cream chop lunch special, absolutely incredible! The portions were huge, everything was hot and fresh, and the flavor was phenomenal. You can’t beat the price for the amount and quality of food you get. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu items! I rarely write reviews. If I do it was because I was floored by my experience and can’t shut up about it. There’s a reason (well actually so many reasons) why this place has such a high rating. While passing through Detroit for work the google rating is what brought me in. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted with such a warm, welcoming atmosphere and offered samples by the owner! Throughout our meal we were treated like family and thoroughly enjoyed every bite of food. You can tell the time and care that has gone into the dishes and the atmosphere they’ve curated. The owner and staff work efficiently while providing an unforgettable customer experience. I could go on and on but really you should just go and try it for yourself. If I was a local this would be my go to spot for Mediterranean/Middle Eastern Cuisine. Great service, amazing value, and it tastes SO GOOD AND FRESH!!!
